San Francisco firefighters rescued a man this afternoon after a tree reportedly fell on him in John McLaren Park.

San Francisco firefighters rescued a man Sunday afternoon after a tree reportedly fell on him in John McLaren Park.
The man called 911 and said he was trapped underneath a fallen tree at about 3 p.m. Firefighters did not know his location but found him soon after.
The man had serious injuries, according to San Francisco fire, and he was taken to the hospital at about 4 p.m.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, officials said.
San Francisco Recreation and Park Department is investigating the location to see what caused the accident.
