Foster City bicyclist dies after car crash
A 78-year-old Foster City man on a bicycle died after a vehicle struck him Friday morning in his hometown.

A 78-year-old Foster City man on a bicycle died after a vehicle struck him Friday morning in his hometown, police said.
Firefighters and police were dispatched at 11:25 a.m. to a collision at East Hillsdale and Foster City boulevards.
Police said the bicyclist was going east across East Hillsdale Boulevard in the westbound lanes when a blue Toyota Camry struck him as it was going north on Foster City Boulevard.
The bicyclist was badly injured when paramedics arrived and they treated immediately him before he was taken to Stanford Hospital for more care. The man died at the hospital, police said.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
