Officer-involved shooting in the Mission

San Francisco police shot someone in the Mission District on Tuesday night, officials reported.

The shooting happened at 20th and Capp streets at about 10:36 p.m., according to a tweet from the San Francisco Police Officers Association.

The association said no police officers were wounded, but did not say if anyone else suffered injuries.

The association said there were no suspects in the area at about 11:40 p.m. and told people to avoid the area due to an ongoing investigation.

At about 12:30 a.m. today, San Francisco police tweeted that officers were responding to an officer-involved shooting at 21st and Capp streets.

It was not clear if the two incidents were the same event, and police did not immediately respond to request for comment.
