Giants great Orlando Cepeda in critical condition

Cepeda remains in critical condition as of Wednesday morning, and sources say Cepeda is not breathing on his own.
In a statement Wednesday morning, the Giants said:
“The Cepeda family asks for privacy during this time. Please keep Orlando and his family in your thoughts and prayers. “
According to SF Gate, a friend of Cepeda’s, Francisco Figueroa, was quoted in a Puerto Rican newspaper saying the former Giant suffered a head injury after a fall at Rancho Solano Golf Course complex, where Cepeda is a member.
According to the Fairfield Fire Department, units were dispatched to that location at 6:04 p.m. Monday night where a patient was picked up and transported to a local hospital.
