Three boys – one only 12 years old – stole a man’s laptop as he rode a San Francisco Municipal Railway light-rail car in San Francisco Thursday night and then punched him when he tried to get it back, police said Friday.
The 42-year-old man was riding Muni around 8:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Church Street and Duboce Avenue when one of the three young men grabbed his laptop, according to police.
When the man tried to retrieve his property, one of the suspects punched him. Though injured, he refused medical treatment, police said.
The man’s injuries weren’t deemed life-threatening, according to police.
The three suspects, two of whom were 17 years old and the third of whom was 12 years old, were arrested, police said.
