Gray Whale Cove dead body ruled a homicide

San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies found a dead man in the parking lot of Gray Whale Cove State Beach early Wednesday morning.
Deputies responded around 1 a.m. and found the man, who had injuries on his face and upper part of his body, and the death was ruled as a homicide, according to the sheriff’s office.

The homicide occurred in California State Parks jurisdiction, and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is assisting them with the investigation.
