Detectives following up on a Wednesday evening homicide that occurred near San Francisco’s Union Square served a search warrant at a residence in Petaluma Thursday and detained three “persons of interest,” according to police.
The homicide was reported at 6:33 p.m. in the 500 block of Post Street.
The victim was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said the victim was a man thought to be roughly 30 years old.
The case remains under investigation and additional details were not immediately available.
