The shooting was reported at about 3:20 p.m. in the 800 block of Feller Avenue.
The suspect was taken to a hospital after the shooting. Police said no one else was injured and no other suspects are outstanding.
Police Chief Eddie Garcia will provide a statement Tuesday about the shooting.
