A 17-year-old male had his car stolen at gunpoint in San Francisco’s Parkside neighborhood on Wednesday evening, according to police.
The carjacking was reported at about 7:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Taraval Street.
The teen had parked his vehicle when a suspect approached, pulled out a gun and demanded the vehicle, police said.
The victim exited the car and the suspect and an accomplice then got in and drove away, heading west on Taraval Street and then north on 22nd Avenue, according to police.
The victim was not injured in the carjacking. The suspects, also believed to be teens, remain at large and detailed descriptions of them were not immediately available.
