An off-duty officer with the San Francisco Police Department suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Thursday morning on a highway in Oakland.
The crash happened at 5:39 a.m. on northbound Interstate Highway 880 at Seventh Street, according to police.
The officer was transported to a hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the crash and no arrests have been made.
Police said there were no unusual circumstances involved in the crash. Further details were not immediately available.
