Northeast weather cancels dozens of SFO flights

Severe weather in the Northeast has led to 52 canceled flights at San Francisco International Airport so far Thursday morning, according to an airport spokesman.

The cancellations are affecting both arrivals and departures, primarily to or from airports in New York, Newark, Philadelphia and Boston.

John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York, is closed because of weather until noon Pacific time, SFO spokesman Doug Yakel said.

Travellers can check www.flysfo.com for more information about canceled flights as well as www.flightradar24.com and www.flightaware.com.
