State Highway 1 between Muir and Stinson beaches in Marin County will open to one-way traffic before noon Thursday, Caltrans officials said Wednesday.
Extensive storm damage closed that section of Highway 1 in February 2017. There are still six active projects along that section of the highway, and motorists should anticipate lengthy delays. Most of those projects will be completed by June, according to Caltrans.
The repair projects have cost $50 million so far, according to Caltrans.
There will be flaggers, signalized operations and stepped-up construction zone enforcement throughout the corridor.
