Victim carjacked outside elementary school

A person was robbed and carjacked late Friday night in East Oakland outside an elementary school, police said Saturday.

The robbery and carjacking was reported at midnight in the 1900 block of 81st Avenue outside East Oakland Pride Elementary School.

Police said the carjacker used a gun to steal the vehicle and the victim’s personal items. The victim was not injured.

Police said the suspect is at large.
