An elderly man was attacked by suspects who broke into his home in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood on Tuesday morning, according to police.
The home invasion robbery occurred sometime between 10 and 10:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Noriega Street, where four suspects kicked in the door of a home and asked the 78-year-old victim for money, police said.
The victim complied, handing over money, then was hit by one of the suspects, according to police.
The suspects then ransacked the home and fled. They remain at large this morning and descriptions of them were not immediately available, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
