California Highway Patrol officials identified 47-year-old Sacramento resident Fred Lowe as a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run collision Saturday night in San Pablo.

Lowe was arrested later Saturday night following the hit-and-run collision that killed four and injured six.

The collision was reported at 8:11 p.m. on Interstate Highway 80 at the San Pablo Dam Road off-ramp. The collision involved five vehicles and Lowe allegedly fled the scene, CHP officials said.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrest.
