Police arrested a man who allegedly punched a victim Friday morning at a BART station in Oakland.
At 7:21 a.m., the suspect allegedly punched the male victim at the Lake Merritt station. The victim placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest, police said.
Police later identified the suspect as 18-year-old William Weisner of Oakland and arrested him on suspicion of battery. He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail, police said.
The victim suffered a minor injury and was treated at the scene, police said.
