Police are investigating two fires that occurred Sunday in San Francisco, police said Monday.
The first fire was reported at 12:20 a.m. in the 1300 block of Fourth Street in the city’s Mission Bay neighborhood.
Security guards reported smelling smoke on the third floor of a mall. Police said someone had lit some doors on fire.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and took over the investigation. Police do not have any suspects in the case. No one was injured.
The second fire was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 500 block of South Van Ness Avenue in the city’s Mission District.
Police said an arson suspect pushed a motorcycle over, poured gasoline on it and lit it on fire. The suspect then fled on foot.
No arrest has been made, police said. No one was injured.
