Napa County mandatory evacuations lifted

Some residents who had been evacuated in both Napa and Sonoma counties area being allowed to return homes, after authorities lifted several evacuation orders and advisories Tuesday.
The mandatory evacuation of Patrick Road in west Napa County was lifted Tuesday at 5 p.m., and there will be no more road closures on Patrick Road, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said.
The mandatory evacuation of Green Valley Road in east Napa County was lifted at 4 p.m.
Wild Horse Valley Road east of Green Valley Road will remain under evacuation, and the road closure at Green Valley and Wild Horse Valley roads will be moved to allow access to Green Valley Road only.
Traffic interruptions may persist due to fire and utilities equipment working in the area, and some homes may not have gas and electric, the sheriff’s office said.
The City of Santa Rosa and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office also announced reductions of mandatory evacuations for portions of Geyserville, Santa Rosa and the Sonoma Valley early Tuesday afternoon.
The reductions include State Highway 128 north to Vanoni Road outside the fire perimeter in the Geyserville area, and a medical complex at 3536 and 3540 Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa. All areas within the mandatory evacuation zone around the complex will remain in place. The only access to the complex will be via Steele Lane north to Mendocino Avenue.
The reduced evacuations in the Sonoma Valley include the unincorporated areas east of Sonoma, including: east of Fourth Street East to Lovall Valley Road at Thornsberry Road, including Lovall Valley Court; south of Lovall Valley Road to East Napa Street; the area east of Seventh Street East to the fire perimeter and state Highway 121; and all streets south from East Napa Street to Napa Road.
The evacuation reduction in the Oakmont neighborhood near Santa Rosa includes all streets south of state Highway 12, east of Calistoga Road to Pythian Road. All northbound roads off Highway 12 will still be closed and under mandatory evacuation.
