Naked man startling women in Windsor park

Windsor police are warning the public about a naked man who approached women at Foothill Regional Park on three different occasions in the last week.

On Thursday at 6:47 p.m., two female victims reported that the suspect came out of the bushes in the park near a pond with his hands held out and walked toward them. He was described as a white man in his late teens to early 20s with short, dark, curly hair, police said.

The victims ran away and reported the incident to police, who responded with a sheriff’s helicopter and a park ranger. They checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

According to police, as officers were leaving the park, they were approached by two other women who reported that an identical suspect did the same thing three days earlier on Monday at the same time of day.

Police also said that on Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m., someone reported a young male without a shirt was running after women and shouting at them.

The suspect remains at large and police are providing extra patrol in the area. Police are also asking the public to be careful in the park and to report any suspicious people by calling police at (707) 565-2121.
