A 30-year-old woman was shot early Saturday morning in downtown San Francisco and later died at a hospital, according to preliminary information today from police.
The shooting occurred at 2:50 a.m. near the intersection of Larkin and Myrtle streets and Sergeant John Macaulay Park.
Police said the shooting does not appear to be a hate crime. The shooting is under investigation.
