A dead body was reported Thursday morning near an on-ramp to eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Pleasanton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The body was reported at 7:20 a.m. near the on-ramp from Hacienda Drive to eastbound Highway 580.
No information was immediately available from the CHP about how the person ended up there and no vehicle was seen in the area.
