Skateboarder injured in collision with Muni bus

A skateboarder was injured in a collision with a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus in The City’s North of Panhandle/Alamo Square neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

The 2:02 p.m. collision involving an inbound 24-Divisadero bus occurred at Divisadero and McAllister streets, where a skateboarder and the midsection of the bus made contact in the intersection, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The skateboarder was taken to a hospital.

The collision caused some delays on the 24-Divisadero and 5/5R-Fulton lines, but the scene has since been cleared.
