Jubilant Warriors fans flow into Oakland streets

Golden State Warriors fans celebrated on Oakland streets Monday night and into Tuesday morning after their team triumphed 129-120 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to capture their second NBA title in three years.

After midnight, police warned the public about a large crowd gathered in the street in downtown Oakland. According to police, there was a large crowd gathered between the 1600 and 1800 blocks of Telegraph Avenue in Oakland.

Television helicopters earlier captured sideshows along International Boulevard between 98th and 102nd avenues. Motorists were asked to use alternate routes until the celebration subsided.
