Auto burglary suspects nabbed after chase, crash

San Francisco police arrested three people suspected of auto burglary Saturday afternoon after they allegedly tried to run over officers with a car.

Just before 1 p.m., officers tried to pull over a vehicle at Fulton and Steiner streets, near Alamo Square, but the occupants of the vehicle refused to stop, according to San Francisco police officials.

The suspects allegedly fled, trying to run the officers over before getting into a collision at Birch and Laguna streets a short time later.

They then got out of the vehicle and ran into a building in the 500 block of Grove Street, where they were arrested at about 2:15 p.m., according to police.
