Senior citizen rescued from Chinatown fire

An elderly person was rescued from a fire at a building in San Francisco’s Chinatown neighborhood Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

The one-alarm blaze was reported at 7:24 a.m. on the third floor at 804 Stockton St., fire department officials said on Twitter.

The elderly person rescued was not injured and the rest of the building has been evacuated while crews try to extinguish the fire, fire officials said.
