As of 10:20 a.m., PG&E is displaying reports of power outages from the FInancial District to the Outer Richmond.
A widespread power outage in San Francisco has shut down BART’s Montgomery Station as reports of no electricity roll in from citizens across wide areas of The City.
As of 10:20 a.m. Friday, PG&E is reporting 96,815 customers in San Francisco without power.
UPDATE 6:20 p.m. Power was restored just after 5 p.m. to all San Francisco customers affected by a sprawling power outage.BART trains and San Francisco Muni trains are skipping the Montgomery Station. Passengers on both lines are advised to either get off at Powell or at Embarcadero stations.
PG&E says it is aware of the power outage and has crews responding. The power outage map on PG&E shows customers have reported outages across the northern portion of San Francisco from the Richmond district to downtown.
Muni cable car service is also affected by the power outage, which are currently not running, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
