A bicyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus on Market Street Wednesday night, police said.
The collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Market Street at Gough Street.
The bicyclist, a 38-year-old man, is reported to have run into the 6-Haight/Parnassus bus in the intersection, according to police and Muni officials.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The collision did not affect Muni service in the area, according to an agency spokeswoman.
