Two female victims were sexually assaulted about 20 minutes apart on Friday night in Stanford, officials with the Stanford University Department of Public Safety said.
The batteries occurred at about 10:40 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the 600 and 800 blocks of Escondido Road, just off the university campus.
In the 600 block of Escondido Road, the victim was approached from behind and groped as she was walking.
Public safety officials are describing the suspect as a bald, white man about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a blue jacket and beige pants.
In the other assault, the suspect approached the victim as she was jogging and groped her. Public safety officials are describing the suspect as a short, bald white man who was wearing dark-colored running clothes.
