A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot at on U.S Highway 101 in San Jose Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The shooting occurred at about 6:45 p.m. on the highway’s northbound lanes near Story Road, CHP spokesman Ross Lee said.
Information about the extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately available.
The CHP had shut down all northbound lanes of the highway at Tully Road. The closure was moved to the state Highway 280/680 split, according to Lee. All southbound lanes are open.
Information about the suspect of suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
