Police announced Friday that they arrested three teenagers in January and February in connection with a series of robberies at gas stations and liquor stores in San Jose and Milpitas.
Known as the “geisha dolls” because of the masks they wore during the robberies, the teens allegedly committed at least 12 armed robberies between Oct. 23 and Jan. 25, carrying a gun or knife and pistol-whipping some of their victims.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at his home on Jan. 25 after an Arco AM/PM store at 2104 N. Capitol Ave. in San Jose was robbed.
Police allegedly found evidence at the boy’s home linking him to 12 robberies. He was booked into Juvenile Hall.
On Valentine’s Day, police arrested a 16-year-old and a suspect who was 17 at the time of the alleged crime.
