A man was arrested Monday after he was caught burglarizing a building in Sunnyvale on Sunday, public safety officials said.
On Sunday at 12:51 p.m., a police officer interrupted a burglary at a commercial building that was under construction in the 1000 block of Kifer Road. The suspect fled the scene and was not apprehended.
Police later learned that the suspect was associated with a vehicle that was reported stolen from San Mateo County, public safety officials said.
On Monday, authorities located the suspect in Santa Clara. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
