A man was found dead Saturday afternoon in Vallejo at Lake Dalwigk Park, police said.
People called police at 2:18 p.m. to report a shooting that had just occurred at the park located at Fifth and Lemon streets.
Officers responded and found an injured man near the basketball courts. He was pronounced dead there, according to police.
The name of the man is being withheld until his family is notified.
