One person died in the crash and another person suffered major injuries, according to the CHP.
A Sig-alert issued due to the crash has been canceled.
There were at least two vehicles involved in the crash, which was first reported around 9:20 p.m.
The crash blocked the highway in both directions. The roadway was reported cleared at 12:49 a.m.
