93-year-old Berkeley woman found safe

A 93-year-old Berkeley woman reported missing Tuesday afternoon has been located, according to police.

Bret Spencer had last been seen shortly after 2 p.m. at her home, according to police.

Around 5:55 p.m. officers issued a statement indicating that Spencer has been found and was safely back at home.

They thanked Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in helping to locate her.
