Driver runs over man after argument

A man suffered life-threatening injuries early Friday morning when he was run over following an argument in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood.

At around 2:45 a.m., officers received a report of a man who had been struck by a vehicle near Mission and 30th streets, police said.

According to a witness at the scene, the two men had gotten into an argument.

The suspect then got into his vehicle along with the witness. As they began to drive, the witness told police they felt the driver had hit something.

The witness then exited the vehicle and saw the other man lying underneath the vehicle, police said.

When the suspect again began to drive away, the vehicle’s rear wheels drove over the victim.

The suspect driver ultimately fled the scene before the witness called police.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was taken to the hospital.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect, described as a 32-year-old man.
