San Francisco transit riders this week will have a chance to win two tickets to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art just by snapping a photo of artwork seen inside Muni buses.
The artwork the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is referring to are the ones designed by five Bay Area artists who won a contest last year to have their artwork showcased on 100 Muni buses from January to April of this year, as previously reported by SFBay.
Muni riders will have until now to Feb. 7 at 11:59 p.m. to take a photo of the artwork. Riders should login to either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and share the photo using the hashtag #SFMuniArt.
The transit agency said it is limiting entries to once per Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account.
The artwork is not on any specific Muni route, so riders will have to pay attention when riding the bus.
The transit agency will select 10 random winners within seven days after the contest closes and will announce the winners through its social media channels and contact the winners through direct messages on how to obtain the prize.
In an event the winner does not get back to the transit agency within three weeks, the SFMTA may award the prize to another contestant.
The SFMOMA tickets are good through July 31, 2017 and valued at $50.
Visit the SFMTA website for more about contest rules.
