The Warriors became the eighth team in NBA history to send four players to the All-Star game Thursday.
Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were chosen by coaches as reserves for the Western Conference. This is Thompson and Green’s second and third straight All-Star appearance respectively and they will join starters Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant on the West squad.
The All-Star quartet will be even more comfortable as they’ll play for Steve Kerr and his staff.
The last time a single team has had four All-Stars was just two years ago, when the Atlanta Hawks sent Al Horford, Jeff Teague, Paul Milsap and Kyle Korver to the All-Star game, although all those players were selected as reserves.
Thompson and Green will be joined on the Western team by Russell Westbrook, DeMarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan and Gordon Hayward.
The reserves for the East were also announced with Isaiah Thomas, John Wall, Kevin Love, Kyle Lowry, Paul George, Kemba Walker and Milsap.
The All-Star game will be held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans Feb. 19.
