30 firefighters put out house fire in Lexington Hills

A crew of 30 Santa Clara County firefighters put out a residential fire Tuesday morning in Lexington Hills, south of Los Gatos near the Lexington Reservoir, fire officials said.

At 12:54 a.m., firefighters received a report of smoke coming from the roof of a home in the 17000 block of Comanche Trail.

Firefighters arrived to find that two residents had evacuated.

Crews contained the fire to the living room and had it under control by 1:36 a.m., fire officials said.

No injuries were reported, and the residents were able to stay in the home despite moderate damage to the living room.
