Two people were displaced after firefighters extinguished a one-alarm residential fire in Antioch Monday afternoon, according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District officials.
A fire dispatcher said firefighters responded at 1:21 p.m. to a fire that had engulfed the second story of a Victorian home located at 406 H St.
The fire was brought under control at 1:49 p.m. with no injuries reported and about $550,000 worth of damage, according to fire officials.
An investigation is currently underway to determine what caused the fire.
