Dog rescued from SF fire that leaves three homeless

Firefighters rescued a dog from a one-alarm fire Saturday afternoon in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 4:22 p.m. at 78 Blythdale Ave.

The fire was under control at 4:29 p.m. Fire officials said no one was injured, but one adult and two children will need temporary housing.

The cause is under investigation.
