Oakland police Thursday released surveillance photos of a suspect taken just after he killed a man in West Oakland in November.
The suspect is shown fleeing just after he killed Jerry Ezell Harbin, 37, of Oakland in the 1100 block of 32nd Street at 1:08 p.m. on Nov. 14, police said.
Police released little information in the weeks after the shooting until Thursday when they released the surveillance photos. Investigators have not disclosed a possible motive for the crime.
The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s standing 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a slim build, black hair and a beard. He was wearing a dark T-shirt, jeans and dark shoes the day of the shooting.
He got into a white 2012 Chevrolet Malibu just after the shooting and fled, police said.
The Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
