BART officials said the train system has recovered Thursday night from a 20-minute delay at the Fremont station because of police work.
The officials reported the delay at 9:05 p.m. on the Fremont line in the Richmond direction.
Trains were delayed because police responded to a report of some suspects stealing an iPhone 5s from another person, BART police Lt. Mike Hayes said. The report was made at 8:29 p.m.
The victim was not injured. The suspects are still at large, according to Hayes.
