All westbound lanes of Bay Bridge reopen after 2-vehicle crash

All westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge have reopened after a two-vehicle crash briefly blocked the far left lane Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 7:07 a.m. in the tunnel near the Treasure Island on-ramp to the upper deck of the western span of the bridge.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash, CHP Officer Ron Simmons said. A small amount of oil also spilled onto the roadway.

A Sig-alert was issued at 7:32 a.m. because of the lane closure but was canceled about 30 minutes later after the scene was cleared and the lane reopened, according to the CHP.
