A woman struck by a pickup truck in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood last week has been identified as 76-year-old Jeanie Yee, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Yee, a San Francisco resident, was struck around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday while crossing in the crosswalk at Union and Buchanan streets, according to police.
The driver, a 33-year-old man driving a truck towing a trailer, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Yee was one of three pedestrians struck Wednesday in San Francisco and one of two who were killed.
Another man, 57-year-old Joaquin Barnes, was found dead in a Municipal Railway tunnel near the Castro Street station around 3 p.m. shortly after a train operator reported seeing a person in the tunnel.
Police said that incident was being investigated as a collision.
A third person, a 67-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries when he was struck around 8 p.m. while crossing the street on a green light at 19th Avenue and Judah Street, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 65-year-old man, stayed at the scene.
Police have not announced arrests in any of the incidents.
