A portion of University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto will be closed overnight Sunday, as well as overnight Monday or Tuesday, for construction, police said.
Between 10 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, University Avenue will be closed between Bryant and Waverley Streets for a city-permitted construction project.
The closure will also occur during the same hours over Monday night, or Tuesday night, depending on weather conditions, police said.
Detours will be in place and drivers can expect slight delays.
