Wi-Fi is now available in all cars of the train, but officials say that service may not be available in some of the rural areas along the train’s route.
The Altamont Corridor Express runs four westbound trains from Stockton in the morning and four more eastbound trains from San Jose in the afternoon.
The line has 10 stations in Santa Clara, Alameda and San Joaquin counties.
