Draymond Green missed Thursday night’s 117-101 Warriors win against the Brooklyn Nets after the birth of his first child.
Draymond Green Jr. was born at 3:55 a.m. and elder Green flew back to the Bay Area to be with him and mother Jelissa Hardy.
This is the first child for the longtime couple, while Hardy has a daughter from a previous relationship, and all four were pictured together in a series of pictures Green has posted at the hospital.

Green’s status for the rest of the road trip — which includes a Christmas Day game against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers — is up in the air and unknown at this time.
While the Warriors are without him they will start Kevon Looney at power forward in Green’s place. Looney had 4 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists Thursday against Brooklyn.
