Vallejo pawn shop robbery turns deadly

Officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress in the 2500 block of Springs Road around 3:10 p.m. involving two men in hooded sweatshirts, at least one of whom was armed with a handgun.
They found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.
One died, and the other was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
One of the suspects also fatally shot a dog inside the pawn shop, according to police.
