Rescuers called to save dog, owner at Fort Funston

Firefighters are attempting to rescue a dog and its owner at Fort Funston in San Francisco this afternoon.

Fire officials first reported the incident at Fort Funston, located near Fort Funston Road and Skyline Boulevard, on Twitter at about 1:50 p.m.

A dog had gone over a cliff there and the dog’s owner then apparently became stuck below the cliff, according to fire officials.

No other information was immediately available.
