Fire officials first reported the incident at Fort Funston, located near Fort Funston Road and Skyline Boulevard, on Twitter at about 1:50 p.m.
A dog had gone over a cliff there and the dog’s owner then apparently became stuck below the cliff, according to fire officials.
No other information was immediately available.
